Mrs. Phillip Hanna, who was the guest of Mrs. J. B. Macfarlane, Gillies Avenue, has returned to Wellington.
Misses Ena Little and Thelma Lawson, of Mount Eden, left by the Monowai on a trip to Sydney and Melbourne.
Mr. and Mrs. J. W. S. McArthur, of Hillsboro', leave to-day for Sydney by the Mariposa, and are returning by the same ship.
Misses E. and F. Latta, of Cheltenham, left yesterday afternoon by the Monowai on a visit to their relations in Queensland. * « •
Captain and Mrs. Burleigh left to-day for Waitomo Caves, en route to Invercargill, to join the !Port Alma for England.
Mrs. Frank Tait and Miss Joan Tait, of Sydney, who have been on a tour of tho thermal district, return to Australia to-day by the Mariposa. J** * »
Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Lawrence, of Remuera, left for Sydney to-day. Miss Jean Lawrence, their daughter, was also a passenger by the Mariposa, and is proceeding to England next week. ••• . •
Miss Knight, who has been on a tour of New Zealand, and is writing a book for publication on the subject, leaves for Sydney to-day cn route to Tientsin, China.
