HAD BROKEN NECK.

YOUNG MAN RECOVERS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HASTINGS, Tuesday. The latest case of a complete recovery from a broken neck is reported from Waipukurau. A young man, Mr. Noel Murphy, was admitted to the Waipukurau Hospital on December 6, 1933, suffering from a broken neck received in a diving accident at the Tukituki River. After a dive from a tree several feet above, he struck the bottom of the river.

He was admitted to hospital, where it was found that the bones in his neck were broken. He was packed in sandbags and kept perfectly still for three months while the bones mended. He is again in good health, and expects to i resume work in a few months. '
