The price fixed by the Commonwealth Bank for gold, including .icweilcry, lodged at the Melbourne Mint for the week ended March f) was at the rate of approximately £7 14/10 a standard ounce. (22 carats), equal to a premium of 03.52 per cent. Payment is made according to the assay value of trie gold. The price is unchanged on the week. Tlie price an ounce fine is £S 8/11, unchanged on the week.
