MARIPOSA DUE FRIDAY.

After a. week of comparative slackness on tlie waterfront, movements forecasted for overseas vessels in the coming week promise more work. Monowai loaves for Sydney to-morrow, and the following morning tlie Mariposa is (hie from U.S.A. Seven overseas chips are due between to-morrow and Sunday for loading or discharging. Monowai, berthed at the Prince s wharf, is scheduled to sail at 3 p.m. to-morrow for Sydney and Melbourne. She returns to Sydney before sailing for Wellington, where she is due on April 3. (U.S.S.) Port Curtis is expected from Opua at 7 o'clock to-morrow morning to continue her loading programme. She proceeds hence to Wellington and Napier, clearing the latter port on April 7 for London, via Montevideo. (F.C.A.) Mariposa is expected at i a.m. on Friday from San Francisco and Los Angeles, via Pacific Islands. She is to berth at the Queen's wharf, and sails at 5 p.m. the same day in continuation of her voyage to Sydney and Melbourne. MAROTIRI LIGHT OCT. The Marine Department announces that they have received advice from Captain T. V. Hill, of the liner Niagara, that the Marotlrl light (Hen and Chickens) was out last night. WAIMANA TO LOAD. Having discharged London cargo in Australia, the Shaw, Savlll and Albion steamer Waimana is due at Bluff on Monday morning to commence loading for London.
