ALBANY SHOW
The cup donated by Messrs. Bishop and Mills for the best display of fruit at the Albany Show was wou by A. B. Cougdou (55 points). Mr. E. Lisk, of Takapuna, won the cup for the most points in the show, donated by Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Wilson, with 63 points. Miss L. M. Potter's cup for the most points in the children's section was won by Miss C. Grant, of Takapuna, with 20 points.
The Taumata Investment Company won Mr. E. Cucksey's cup for the champion hack, while Mr. J. B. fonar, of Northcote, won the Auckland Metropmitan Jersey Club's cup for the best yearling Jersey heifer.
The results of the weight guessing competitions are as follow: —Pig (actual weight 87V41b): Mrs. W. Keith, Waerenga, 87V£lb, 1; A. Hocking, Albany, 871b lOoz, 2. Two sheep (actual weight 1461b): W. Kenny, Albany, 1461b, 1; F. Poynton, Dairy Flat, and W. J. Bridson, Silverdale, 1471b, equal, 2.
