INDOOR BOWLING.

A.F.S. ANNUAL MEETING, The executive report adopted at the annual meeting of the Auckland Friendly Societies' Indoor Bowling AKsociation 'evealed a very satisfactory state of affairs. Bro. A. .Tenkin presided over a record number of delegates. The accounts showed a credit balance of £21 14/2. Reference was made in the report to the fact that .'{7 registered unemployed members had been helped by way of free entry fees to tourneys, and this concession will be again In operation this year. It was decided that n suitable presentation be made to the retiring past president, Bro. F. A. Harris, for his services. The following offlfflcers were elected : — President. Brn. F. Hammond ; vice-president, Bro. \V. H. Drew: past president. Bro. A. •Tenkin : secretary and treasurer, Bro. G. F. Day; *hon. auditor, Bro. T. J. Spry; management committee. the executive officers and Sirs. I/. Boles. Bros. F. A. Harris, D. Hammond, H. Halstead, F. .1. Mansell, JI. A. Wright, It. B. Brodle and C. Llewelyn. The programme for the season was approved. The management committee has appointed the following floor coyimlttee: Bro. \V. 11. Drew (convener), I). Hammond, T. Hammond and C. Llewelyn. ORANGE ASSOCIATION. The eighth annual meeting of the Orange Bowling Association was held In flie Oranire Hall. Bro. F. Harris presided. It was decided to hold tourneys in the Druids' Hail on Monday night of each week. The opening nlglit to be Monday, April 0. The following officers were elected : — President. Bro. Frank Harris: vice-presi-dents, Bro. ,T. Spier and F. J. Mansell and Sister Rout: secretary-treasurer, Sister Boles: assistant secretary. Sister Stein : auditor. Bro. J. Rattray; management, committee, Bros. F. Lucas. R. Townsend, G. Dransfleld and another to he elected, Sisters Cambridge, Young and Dilly; match committee, Bros. F. Harris. J. Speir, J. Mansell, G. Day and H. Boles.
