PAY REDUCED.
TERRITORIAL CAMP. COMPLAINTS AMONG MEN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The intention of the Defence Department to pay privates and N.C.O.'s, who attended the recent Waipukurau camp, only for the days they were in camp, and not for the full week, is reported to have aroused some indignation. The men state that the evacuation of the camp as a result of the weather was 110 fault of theirs, and they point out that many of them had obtained leave of absence from ordinary employment without pay.
