Chilled Beef Cargoes to Cost l{d Per Pound. AUSTRALIA TO LONDON. (Received 1.110 p.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The Overseas Shipping Representatives' Association has notified the New South Wales Mont Exporters' Association that during a period designated the 1034 experimental year, shipping companies are prepared to earrv chilled beef between Australian ports and London at a freight rate of l.'tl per lb, plus exchange. The rate quoted includes the cost of necessary gas in connection with the carbon dioxide gas storage system.
