INDIAN TRAGEDY.
FIRE WALKER KILLED. February 21. Tragedy followed an attempt by a number of villagers to emulate a firewalking fakir in Madras. Thev rushed into a pit of burning embers in a state of wild confusion. One man was killed and 10 severely injured.
