SHIRTS, BADGES, CAPS.
The letter of "Douglasite" certainly tickles the fancy, even as the green shirts with Douglas tartan facings tickles him. Is this shirt another injustice to Ireland, or is it an attempt to mingle the races? Some may even discern an attempt to enlist Scotland in the Home Rule cause. At any rate, one can hardly blame him for objecting, but would remind him if he suggests discarding a shirt for a badge that winter approaches (summer occurred one day last month, and there may not be another .till February 20). Perhaps for extra warmth he might not object to a small cap worn askew (apologies to "Pcrtinax II."). There might be embroidered thereon a swastika composed of Fasces, and perhaps a few bells. Anyway, is a badge of any sort necessary to distinguish a Douglas Creditite in a crowd? PEE J AY.
