CABLE TRAFFIC RETURNS.
INCREASE IN JANUARY. An increase was registered in the estimated message receipts of Imperial and International Communications, Ltd., during January, compared with the returns for the corresponding month of 1933. These traffic receipts can be accepted as a fair indication of world trade and commercial activity. The working day average of comparable receipts, taking 100 as the index figure for 1029. for four years up to January, is as follows: — j
