' ' PUTARURU CLUB. About 30 members attended the annual meeting of the Putaruru Golf Club, Mr. F. C, Barnett presiding. The club's membership at the close of the season totalled 37 ladies and 40 men, one junior and one honorary. Officers elected : —Patron, Mr. A. G. Leggatt: president, Mr. F. C. Barnett; vicepresident, Mr. Ij. E. A. Root; lion, secretary, Mr. A. D. Leys; club captain, Mr. G. A. Gibbs; vice-captain, Mr. R. ,T. Rolfe; treasurer, Mr. D. J. Warren ; committee, Messrs. A. H. Dukeson. jun., R. L. Paterson, A. L. Mason, V. C. Bailey, R. G. Hutton ; handicap committee, Messrs. D. J. Warren and A. D. Leys; social committee, Messrs. R. J. Rolfe, .R. W. Cook, J. R. K. Callaghan, J. Halkett.
