GASH ON HEAD.
YOUNG FARM HAND'S ORDEAL (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) PAEROA, Wednesday. A young man, A. Shaare, a farm hand i in the employ of the Finance Corporation, while working in Hull Road, Paeroa, met with a painful accident to-day. He was ploughing, when one of the plough levers jammed and when trying to release it the lever handle flew back, striking the top of his head and inflicting a deep gash. He was rendered unconscious and being alone lay helpless for some time. On regaining consciousness he managed to stagger home, whence he was conveyed to the Paeroa Hospital. Pour stitches were inserted and later the patient was able to be taken home. ,
