DUNEDIN WOOL CHEQUES. TWO RECENT SALES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Wednesday. Over £1,000,000 lias now been paid over in respect of the two wool sales held in Dunedin during the current season. At the second sale on February 5 a total of 29,307 bales was disposed of for a return of £021,534 18/1, the receipts from the previous sale of 29,294 bales being '£501,734 11/4. The average price per pound of the wool received at the last sale showed an increase on the former one, being 15.15 d, compared with 13.89 d. The per bale average at the February sale was £21 3/3, as against £19 13/0 in December.
