MORRINSVILLE D.U.F.S. SPORTS.
The Morrinsville District United Friendly Societies' annual athletic and cycling meeting was held on Saturday in perfect weather. The track was somewhat rough for cycling. There were good entries in all events, and the finishes were keenly contested. In the mile foot race a foot separated first and second, while the three placed men in the two-mile cycle handicap passed the post practically 011 even terms.
