SHIPPING NEWS.

MARAMA IN PORT. VESSELS TO LOAD. Work is proceeding steadily to-day on tile waterfront after considerable delays owing to the weather, and six overseas ships are taking ou or discharging cargoes, in addition to the weekly coastal vessels working. The Mara ma has arrived from Sydney, and the Aorangi is due on Sunday from Vancouver. Marama arrived this morning with passengers, mails and cargo from Sydney, and is berthed at the Queen's wharf. She is to sail on the return trip at 3 p.m. 011 Friday. (U.S.S.) Brisbane Maru is at the King's wharf, and after discharging Japanese cargo, is to load wool and general merchandise ! for Japan, sailing' at noon to-morrow, via Sydney. (F.C.A.) Mamari is at present loading at Opua, and is to arrive here on Thursday afternoon to continue loading at the Prince's wharf. She completes her cargo at Nelson and Wellington, sailing finally 011 March 3 for London, via Panama. (A.S.P.) Port Napier was expected to leave Waiigs.nui at 0 p.m. yesterday for Auckland, where she is due 011 Thursday to complete loading for London at the Queen's wharf. She is scheduled to sail on Saturday for London, via Cape Horn and Las Palmas. (F.C.A.) Nogoya is due from Wanganui 011 I Monday to complete loading for Great Britain. She is to sail 011 February 24, via Cape Horn. (L.D.N".) Aorai.gi is due 011 Sunday from Vancouver, via Victoria, Honolulu and Suva, land sails at 5 p.m. the next day for Sydney. (U.S.S.) Waihemo is due at Nukualofa to-day from Paciiic Coast ports, and is expected to reach Auckland about Monday next. Her other discharging ports will be Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne and Sydney. (U.S.'S.) Huntingdon is to be dispatched 011 Thursday afternoon or Friday morning for Wellington and Blurt' to complete her cargo. She is to sail on February 24 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow.
