Thomson lost to Allen and Wellbourne, 2—o, 0 3, G —B; Lawrence and Gillett lost to Sutherland and Barrett, 4—G, o—o.0 —0. Auckland Savings Bank won by two rubbers to of New Zealand No. 1 v. Farmers' Trading Company No. 2.—Stevens and Potter lost to Bowker and Coleman, 6—4, I—b, I—G; Smith and Elliot beat Bassett and Haydon, o—4, 5 —G, G —4; Potter and Smith lost to Bowker and Haydon, 4—G, o—4, 6 8. Farmers' Trading won by two rubbers to one. , ~ Sargood Son and Ewon v. W oolwortlis. — Forte and Wade beat Chapman and Robinson, i—g, G—3, o—3; Davis and Teal, lost to Barrier and Toogood, 4 —G, 4 —o ; Wade and Davis beat Chapman and Barrier, G-— ■>, 6 —4. Sargood's won by two rubbers to 0D I). Henry and Company v. South British Insurance. —Halliwell and Jolly lost to Spooner and Mains, 3 —6, O—G: Mason and Holdswortli beat Connor and Maddren, (i 4, 6—3; Halliwell and Holdsworth beat Connor and Snooner, G—3, 6—3.
