NEW SCHOOL OPENED.
The Auckland Education Board lias erected and opened a school on the Pakiri block, an area of Crown and native land between Pakiri and Tomarata, on which some 30 families have settled. It is understood that the name chosen for the school is Forest Reserve, which unfortunately gives no indication of its locality. Miss J. P. Murray, formerly of Warkworth, has been appointed sole teacher.
