ILL-FATED AERONAUTS.
HEIGHT RECORD ESTABLISHED
MOSCOW, February 2
A commission of inquiry reports that the balloon Sirius, the three members of the crew of which were killed as they were descending on Monday, had reached the record altitude of 72,160 ft. The recording instrument in the wrecked gondola was found intact.
