PONSONBY DEFEATS GRAMMAR.

Last night Ponsouby defeated Grammar Old Boys by three goals to two in an A grade water polo match plnyed at the Ponsonby Amateur Swimming Club's carnival in the Tepid Baths. At half-time the score was two-all, Stotter iind Kay each having scored a goal for Ponsonby, and Frank Smith and Thomas one each for Grammar. Ponsonby showed the better team work in tne second spell, and the deciding goal for Ponsouby was added by Gordon Smith. Sergeant Upson was referee.
