Miss Kathleen Armstrong, of Cambridge, returned home yesterday by tbe Rotorua express after an enjoyable holiday at Auckland.

Mrs. J. M. Griffiths, of Kelburne, arrived by the Limited from Wellington yesterday, on a round of visits to her friends at Auckland.

Mrs. V. Freeth, Mrs. L. Moss, of Wellington, Mrs. R. Black, of Napier, and Mrs. J. Blackmorc, of Christchurch, are at tho Station Hotel.

Mr. and Mrs. T. N. Maxwell, of Elgar Street, Kpsoin, left to-day to spend a holiday at Manly. Miss Doria Griffiths, of R6torua, accompanied them.

Mrs. Frank Spencer, of Sydney, accompanied by Miss Vivian Spencer arrived by the Wanganella, and intend staying in Auckland for a few weeks.

Mrs. , Hubert Fairfax, of Sydney, arrives on the Niagara with her husband in order to be present at the Waitangi celebrations. Mrs. Fairfax is one of the leaders of - the Country Women's Association, and takes a keen interest in all women's movements in Australia.

Miss Dora Busby, a great-niece of Mr. James Busby, the first and only British Resident at the Bay of Islands, arrived by the Wanganclla from Sydney yesterday, to represent the Australian branch of tho Busby family at the Waitangi Treaty celebrations. Miss Busby, who is staying at the Hotel Cargen, will leave for the North to-day.
