GAMING ACT CHARGES.
THREE MEN REMANDED.

As a sequel to a police raid on the public bar of a hotel on Saturday three j men, who were arrested on alleged breaches of the Gaming Act, appeared in the Police Court this morning, before Mr. H. W. Bundle. Alan Gourley wae charged with using the public bar of the Carlton Hotel as a common gaming house, mud James Ernest Gillan and James Kennedy were each charged with assisting Mm. The accused were remanded till Wednesday on bail.
