BUTTER AND CHEESE. LATEST LONDON CABLES. The weekly cable received from London by the l'ress Association reads as follows: The butter market is quiet. Danish, 88/ per cwt; choicest salted New Zealand, 65/; Australian, 60/; unsalted, about 3/ premium. Cheese is slow. New Zealand, white, 41/ per wt; coloured, 43/; Australian, none offering. MERCHANTS' ADVICES. The following cables have been received this morning by local merchants from ' their British principals:— ; Messrs. Joseph Nathan and Company (London principals, Messrs. Trengrouse and Nathan, Tooley Street): —Butter: 68/ per cwt. Cheese: White, 41/ per cwt; coloured, 43/. Both markets weak. Mr. L. McCartney (Messrs. Henry A. Lane and Company, London):—Butter: New Zealand. 63/ per cwt. Market quiet. Cheese: New Zealand, white, 42/ per cwt; coloured, 44/. Market quiet, tendency favouring buyers. Messrs. A. S. Paterson and Company (principals, Messrs. J. and J. Lonsdale and Company, London): —Butter: Market quiet, buyers inactive. New Zealand, 67/ to per cwt; Australian, 64/ to 65/; Danish, market firmer, 68/ to 69/ f.0.b., 89/ to 90/ landed. Cheese: Market slow. White, 40/ to 41/ per cwt; coloured, 41/ to 42/. Messrs.
