NEW STAVISKY MYSTERY

PARIS, January 24.
The newspapers assert that 1200 documents bearing on the Stavisky financial scandals, have mysteriously disappeared. In consequence, many complaints have lapsed through the Statute of Limitations.
A renewal of rioting outside the Chamber of Deputies took place early this evening, mostly by students and Communists. As the result 120 arrests were made.
Henri Cohen, an expert valuer of jewellery at the Bayonne Municipal Pawnbrokery, with which the initial Stavisky scandal was concerned, has been arrested following a discoverey that jewels which he examined were almost worthless.
