Campbell and Cobham to Search
For Gold.
HUNT IN AFRICAN DESERT,

LONDON, January 24.
Sir Malcolm Campbell and Sir Alan Cobham will start early in February on a gold hunting expedition in the desolate Kalahari desert, Bechuanaland, in Sir Alan Cobham's Courier monoplane. Sir Malcolm Campbell will also search for a new track for a motor speed attempt. He has obtained a prospector's license from African authorities, and has received information indicating that there is a gold reef somewhere in the Kalahari. He will be accompanied by a mechanic and a geologist.
