RAILWAY WANTED.
NAPIER-WAIKOKOPU SECTION.| EFFORTS FOR RESTORATION, (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent) NAPIER, this day. Inquiries being undertaken by the committee which is handling the negotiations for the restoration and operation of .the Napier-Waikokopu section of the East Coast railway are now near completion. The committee "will meet to-morrow week to consider the project as it affects the Napier-Waikokopu section, and will later confer with the committee handling the inquiries in regard to the Gisborne section, when the of all the investigations will be crystallised into a report to be presented to the authorities.
