<By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TE KUITI, Sunday. Serious injuries were received by a young Maori, Mr. Jack Arauni (22), when his hand was caught in some machinery at a sawmill at Piopio. He was brought in to the Te Kuiti Hospital when it was found that it was necessary to amputate part of the band and four fingers.
