YOUNG MAORI'S OFFENCE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TE KUITI, this day. At the Magistrate's Court to-day a young Maori who pleaded guilty to the theft of a tennis racquet, valued at £3 15/, the property of Samuel J. Williams, was convicted and fined £5. Mr. H. T. Norton said that accused came of very respectable parents.
