CHANGING THE CALENDAR. LONDON", January 8. Although attempts to reproduce the old Germanic calendar names have been officially suppressed, the calendars of 1934 reveal the intentions of iromautieminded Nazis, says the Berlin correspondent of "The Times."
The ordinary calendar calls December "Christmond," whereas the Labour Front prefers the pagan name "Jul," but modestly calls May "Mai," instead of "Womieinond," meaning "month of rapture." August is called Erting, meaning "Harvest," and November, "Neblung," meaning "Mists." Recall-
ing the French revolutionary nomenclature, the calendar marks the dates with the names of Nazis whom Communists killed.
