KING'S FAVOURITE.

Leaves Rumanian Palace Never To Return. MME. LUPESCU'S DEPARTUEE. I (Received 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, January 11. The Vienna correspondent of the "Daily Express" reports that Mme. Lupescu, King Carol's favourite, has left the King for ever. The message adds that this was one of the conditions upon which M. Titulescu took office in the new Rumanian Cabinet in his old post of Foreign Minister. M. Dumitrescu, the King's secretary, and his father, General Dumitrescu, who was commandant of the gendarmerie, have been removed from office. M. Titulescu demanded these dismissals before he would accept the portfolio.
