British Receipts for Motor Licenses. INCREASE NEARLY £1,000,000. (British Official Wlrelese.) (Received 1 p.m.) RUGBY, January 11. The gross amount received in Great Britain from motor licenses during the last year amounted to £29,201,000, compared with £28,411,000 for the previous twelve months. The number of motor vehicles, exclusive of tram cars and trade licenses, totalled 2,011,800, compared with 1,926,700 for the year before. Cars registered for the first time last year showed a considerable increase over the number for 1932.
