CHURCH MEETINGS.

ONEHtWGA METHODISTS. The quarterly meeting of the Onehungn Methodist Circuit was held on Wednesday. The number of members was reported as 240, an increase of four for the quarter. The quarter, which started with a debit balance of £6 13/7, ended with n credit of £11 0/8, the income being £167 18/4 u:i<l the expenditure £156 17/8. Mr. H. E. Harkness was received as a fully-accredited local preacher. Mr. C. K. Goode woe appointed .representative to the Methodist Conference to bo held at Wellington next month, with Mrs. Harkness as substitute representative. The election of circuit stewards resulted iu Messrs. C. E. Goodo and W. Norria being re-elected. It was decided that steps be taken to secure the services of two students from Trinity Collage for the purpose of -conducting a fortnight's mission during the first vacation. The amount contributed to the Methodist orphanages during the quarter was £16 17/3.
