GIRL MISSING.
FATHER'S VAIN SEARCH. DISAPPEARANCE FROM HOME. Fears are entertained for the safety of Miss Marie Ann de Stighter, aged 19, who has been miesing from her parents' home at Oiierahi, near Whangarei, since 11 o'clock last Saturday morning. Miss do Stighter is a native of Java, and it is believed that she travelled to Auckland on Saturday. To-day her father, after an unsuccessful search in Auckland, returned to the North. The missing girl is about sft lin in height, of sallow complexion, with large blue eyes, sandy, fair hair, buster cut. She walks erect and speaks good English. She is a shorthand typist, and recently suffered a breakdown following a long period of study for an examination. When last seen she was dressed in a navy blue frock, white linen hat and black shoes.
