WATERFRONT EMPLOYMENT. WELLINGTON UNION'S CLAIM. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. Union men on the coal corner of the waterfront refused to work this morning, asking for a more equal distribution of work. The complaint is that some of the men receive constant work, while others are unemployed part of the time. Mr. W. Bennett, secretary of the Wellington Waterside Labour Employment Association, claims the right to employ labour freely, and refuses to see a deputation.
