Johnston and Miss Sybil Macindoe, who have been the guests of Mrs. Morlcy Bell, Mellons Bay, have returned to Wellington.^ Elinor Mordaunt, the novelist, and her husband, Mr. R, Bowles, are on their way to New Zealand. They arrived in Australia by the Ormonde. Miss Olive Ramsay, of Toliunga Street, Parnell, has returned home after spending a vacation with friends in her mother's cottage at Waiheke. Miss F. Parton, of Newcastle, who was formerly Miss Claire Hill, is at present visiting Auckland, and is staying with her brother, Mr. E. Hill, Hinemoa Avenue, Devonport.
