RAWLINGS SCHOLARSHIPS.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES. The two successful candidates in the recent Rawlings Scholarship examination are announced ■by the trustees, Messrs. Baker and Swan. They are: — Bruce Stalley Sinclair, of 82, St. Andrew's Road, Epsom, a pupil of Epsom school; and Ronald Albert Barker, of 21, Leighton Street, Grey Lynn, a pupil of Grey Lynn school. There were H candidates, representing 25 schools. The Rev.-F. \V. Young wasvexamincr.
The scholarships arc awarded annually under the will of the late Mr. Humphrey Rawlings, and entitle the holders to three years at the Auckland Grammar School. Books and school fees are paid out of the fund, as Avell a« an annual amount of £10. ,
