FOX HUNTING

CLERIC IS CHALLENGED

LONDON, January 2.

Though, there are still many "hunting parsons" in England, it is unusual for Nonconformist ministers to favour it.

Consequently the League for the Prohibition of Cruel Sports has challenged the Rev. David Pughe, a Methodist Minister, who hunted with the Waddon Chaso foxhounds on Boxing Day, to a debate on hunting.

Mr. Pughe has declined the challenge, saying: "I was not hunting for publicity."
