BACK IN PORT.
RETURN OF YACHT DAISY. With its broken maet roughly lashed into place, the 36ft B class Auckland yacht Daisy, which was picked up by the ketch Will Watch off Moko Hinau Island last Wednesday, was towed iuto port early last evening, and . tied up alongside the Western Viaduct. Aboard the yacht was its owner, Mr. D. Wellington, who had remained with the craft after the other members of the crew had returned to Auckland from Port Fitzroy. Aβ the Will Watch was engaged in a cruise at the time it towed the Daisy to Port Fitzroy, it was decided to continue tho tow of the yacht until the completion of the itinerary of the ketch. No difficulty was experienced in this respect, and the Daisy was taken to Whangapara and Kawau before being brought back to Auckland.
