"HAIL HITLER."
AUSTRIAN DEMONSTRATION.
VIENNA, January 3
As a sequel to the unexpected release of an Austrian Nazi leader, Alfred Frauenfeld, from prison, where he had been awaiting trial on a charge of high treason, hundreds of Kazis demonstrated outside his home. They sang forbidden songs and shouted: "Hail Hitler."
Rioting ensued, in the course of which mounted policemen used their batons in merciless fashion.
Many of the rioters were sent to hospital, and numbers of others were arrested.
