CONCERT AT PRISON.
Xew Year's Day . was celebrated at Mount Eden prison with a concert arranged b.v the Presbyterian Social Service Association. All the inmates were provided with a gift of sweets given by Mr. H. Jones. Mr. Frank Egerton, secretary of the Musicians' Union, and Miss Gladys Barton arranged the programme. The following assisted: —Mesdames Keg. Reed, Dreaver, Misses Grucie Wruy,Gladys Barton, Messrs. 'Doug. Armishaw, Visiter, Moorcraft and Simpson.
