DILAPIDATION OF VICTORIA AVENUE.
The complaint about the fearsome nature of Victoria Avenue is, if anything, understated. Here is a street that by /eason of its position and the houses that border it should be a credit to the city § whereas ,it is a horror. It is rot Civy to know what can be done about it when council and Transport Board deliberately ignore their obligations. Personally, I may llot he able to stir these bodies, to action, but I propose to exact revenge; The next sprnif? I break in negotiating this alleged road I will iret half a pound of half-inch tacks and do a little work on the beantifrl .streets that front the residences of some gentlemen I feel could be spurred to action. BOTTOM OF THE AVENUE.
