THREE IN HOSPITAL.
STEERING COLTJMN BREAKS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ASHBURTON, this day. Through the steering column breaking, a motor car overturned near Alford Forest yesterday. As a result of the accident the two sons and the daughter of Mr. J. E. Rountree, of Riccarton, Chrietchureh. were admitted to the Ash-bin-ton Hospital. Mr. Ernest Rountree (19) suffered a broken right arm and wounds on the right hand; Miss Effie Rountree (20) a broken right arm and skull injuries; and Arthur Rountree (10) a fracture of the base of the skull and a wound on the neck. The condition of the patients is satisfactory.
