» AREAS IN THE NORTH. Areas comprising 808 acres of Crown ind north of Auckland are to be thrown pen for selection on renewable lease. Eight blocks ranging from CO to 116 ores are in the vicinity of Marsden 'oint, near Whangarei. The area has een dug over for kauri gum, and is ow mostly covered with scrub. One area of 59 acres is near Silverale, and two other small areas are near [endcrson in the Birdwood Block. An area of 240 acres is offered four tiles from Kaukapakapa.
