t A.R.A. EXECUTIVE. REGATTA ARRA XGEMENTS. The executive of the Auckland Rowing Association met last night, Mr. A. C. Xorden in the chair. The West End Club's request for the association's scales at the club jubilee regatta on New Year's Day was granted. It was decided to write the' Wanganui Rowing Association asking for the loan of an eight oar boat for the championship eights race. Mr. H. YV. Hudson was appointed'judge, and Mr. C. J. Aitken clerk of scales at the Hamilton regatta on, January 29, and the following programme was approved:— Maiden double sculls, £5, £1; youths' fours, £10, £2; single sculls handicap, £5. £2; maiden fours, open, £10, £2; senior fours, £ 14, £o, £1; maiden fours, 10 stone and under. £10, £2; maiden pair, £."), £1; junior pair, £G, £1: junior fours clinker. £12, £2; eights, 2 miles. Somerville .Shield. The following officials were appointed for the Kotorua regatta :—Judges. Messrs. H. YV. Hudson, A. M. Dowll, R. H. Stewart; starter, S. H. , -Buchanan ; umpire, C. D. Molesworth ; clerk of scales, C. J. Aitken ; handicapper, A. C. Xorden. It is interesting to note that three swimming races have been included on the programme for oarsmen.
