DOUGLAS CREDIT DEBATE.
There may bo something "worth investigating in this "social credit" idea, and I think tlie proposal contained in "Seeking More LightV letter a good one. Here is an cxtract from a correspondent's letter, lie being a man of sound ideas, a scholar of wide culture, and director of a world-known English business house. Among other things, lie says: "As you probably know, the interest in proposals for the socialisation of credit is considerably smaller (proportionately) in this country (Great Britain) than in JSew Zealand. Major Douglas' theories, though known to small groups in many centres, have by no means reached the surface, .~o to speak, notwithstanding the able advocacy of them by A. !>• Orage in the 'Xew English Weekly.' Official and orthodox opinion suppresses, distorts or misunderstands Doujlas." AIA" HASAN ItLTEE.
