INDOOR BOWLING.

ST. ANDREW'S CLUB. On Thursday a gala niglit was held by the St. Andrew's Indoor Bowling Club at New Lynn. All invitation to the "Auckland Star" players was accepted, and five teams were sent out. The president, Mr. Walker, in welcoming the visitors, said it was very pleasing to note the increased numbers of players. This caused Mr. Groves, in replying for the "Star," to remark that if indoor bowlers kept on increasing as they had done in the past few months, St. Andrew's Club would have to get another hall, as well as the St. Andrew's, to accommodate the players. The full-rink games of seven heads resulted ("Star" first) :—Jackson 8, v. Farquharson S; Woolf 4, v. Withers 7; Fiveash S. v. Lingard 8; Groves S. v. B. Mcese 4; Dufty. 2, v. M. Meesc 7; Fiveash 4, v. Farquharson 11: Dufty 3, v. Withers 9; Woolf 5, v. Lingard 6; Jackson 30, v! Dove 0: Groves 0, v. Farquharson C; Woolf 3, v. Rankin S; Jackson 12, v AValker 2 ; Dufty 3, v. S.
