THAMES HIGH SCHOOL.

EX-PUPILS MEET. The initial social function of the Auckland section of the Thames High School Old Pupil. Association was held on Tuesday evening in the Interhouse Girls' Club rooms. The function, which took the form of a social evening and dance, was most successful, being well supported by a representative gathering of ex-pupils and their friends. Bridge was also played in the lounge. A feature of the evening was the rendering of two delightful vocal numbers by Miss Beryl Smith, an ex-pupil. The whole arrangements for the evening's entertainment were in the hands of the energetic local committee of the association. The decorations were in the school, colours of blue and gold.
