SPEED OF MOTORS.
PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFETY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON Wednesday. In answer to the Hon. D. Buddo (Canterbury), who sTsked the Government whether it would make provision for speed limits for motor vehicles on streets and highways that would ensure greater safety to the public, the Leader of the Legislative Council, Sir James Parr, said the existing provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act and the regulations afforded adequate safety to the public if they were enforced by the police and road control authorities.
