THE TRILBY HAT.
Woman lias annexed tlie Trilby hat, and man will have to look to his laurels if he is not to become "effeminate," states a London writer. It has been discovered that the Trilby goes perfectly with the latest female sports outfits. For the riioment it will be set prim and straight on the head, though no doubt angles will come later. It is made mostly in Angora braid, and so lacks the hard, efficient air of its male counterpart. As a contrast, the "pork-pie" hats of our grandmothers are in for a revival, complete with muff and scarf. We shall also wear berets made to look like shovels, pulled over one eye, and, for afternoons, frivolous feminine affairs, with ostrich feathers clustering at the back or side, or tails of fur decorating the crown.
