The engagement is announced between Mr. John Havelock North, F.R.C.S., third son of Dr. and Mrs. J. J. North, of Remuera, and Miss Phyllis G. Wiles, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. 0. Wiles, also of Kemuera.
The engagement' is announced between Kenneth Benn Myers, only son of the late Sir Arthur Myers, of Auckland, New Zealand, and of Lady Myers of 71, Upper Berkeley Street, London, and Margaret Blair Pirie, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chajles Tirie, of Kitchener, Ontaxio, Canada.
